XeroCare

About XeroCare

XeroCare puts prices from several Korean clinic platforms side by side so international visitors can compare them.

Where the prices come from

Listings published on BabiTalk, Cashdoc, and Gangnam Unni. We saw them between Oct 8, 2026 · 03:35 KST and Oct 18, 2026 · 03:54 KST. Clinic pages show each platform’s own rating. Treatment cards show one average across several deals, weighted by number of reviews, and say how many deals it covers.

How we compare prices

Where do the prices come from?

From the prices clinics list on BabiTalk, Cashdoc, and Gangnam Unni, which are Korean booking platforms. We checked them between Oct 8, 2026 and Oct 18, 2026.

Do the prices include VAT?

Where VAT is stated, yes. We compare in Korean won (KRW) with VAT included; when a clinic lists a price without VAT, we add 10% before comparing. Some listings do not say whether VAT is included: we show them as listed, mark them “VAT not stated” and leave them out of the lowest price.

What does “lowest price” mean?

It is the lowest listed price among listings that state VAT, were seen within the last 30 days, do not bundle aftercare or extra fees, do not list several treatments in one listing, are not limited to certain customers (such as students or military personnel), and state the amount (not one we assumed). Other listings are shown but not counted as the lowest.

What is compared with what?

Each comparison groups listings of the same treatment, device or method, area and amount, so like is compared with like.

Is the listed price final?

No. It is the price the clinic listed on the date shown. The clinic confirms the final price; with a free consultation & quote request, our coordinator checks it with the clinic for you.

Where do ratings and reviews come from?

They are each platform’s own ratings and reviews; XeroCare does not collect ratings of its own. Clinic pages show each platform’s rating separately. Treatment cards show one average across several deals, weighted by number of reviews, and say how many deals it covers.

Can foreign visitors get a VAT refund on cosmetic procedures in Korea?

No, not since Jan 1, 2026. Under Korean tax law, the special VAT refund for foreign tourists for certain cosmetic and plastic-surgery procedures covered only procedures received by Dec 31, 2025. XeroCare compares prices with VAT included, and that VAT is not refunded. Checked Oct 18, 2026; we will update this if the law changes.

Can I leave a review on XeroCare?

Not at the moment. If we start accepting reviews, we will not accept reviews given in exchange for discounts, gifts or other rewards. The reviews shown on XeroCare are each platform’s own, shown with their source (names and some details are hidden; AI translations are labelled). If a clinic asks us to remove a review that is still on the platform, we keep it; we correct only what is wrong, such as a review of a different clinic.
