I had a strong foreign-body sensation in my eye and worried something might be wrong, so I visited. I got lucky and was treated right away without waiting. I first had an eye exam in a separate examination room, then moved to the treatment room next door. I first explained my symptoms and concerns, and the doctor identified the cause, told me what it appeared to be, and also explained the treatment method and the expected recovery period. Even so, I had some suspicions, so I voiced my concerns, and the doctor reassured me it would be fine. *I had stye surgery, and the director was very kind. There wasn't much swelling and no bruising. It was my first time and I was really scared, but it was bearable.
